Gynecologist, friend robbed at gunpoint after leaving high school reunion

A gynecologist is now traumatized after she was relieved of a wrist watch by two armed men in the vicinity of Woolford Avenue, Georgetown on Friday evening.

33-year-old Judy Hung-Kem of Kitty, Georgetown had just left the St Joseph High School reunion when she and a friend were attacked and robbed.

Based in information received, the woman was in the company of a friend, Michael Sam when the two armed men pounced on them as they sat in her vehicle.

The medical official reportedly arrived at the location at about 21:00h on Friday evening and parked her motorcar in the vicinity of the Stella Maris Primary School and at about 00:30h on Saturday morning, she was accompanied by Sam to her motor vehicle and while sitting in the said vehicle, it is alleged that two males approached the vehicle and opened the doors.

One of the men reportedly held Sam at gunpoint and demanded their belongings. After some resistance, the man reportedly dealt Sam several blows to the head during which they relieved the woman of a MK Gold Wrist watch.

The men then escaped on foot. The police were summoned and checks were made for the perpetrators but they were not seen.

Investigations are currently ongoing.
