The note, which takes data from the Belarussian Statistical Committee, stresses that the agrarian organizations obtained this increase, despite the fact that the prices of raw materials this year exceeded those of 2024 by 1,8%.

In total, between January and March 2025, 451 thousand tons of cattle and poultry, 2,212,4 thousand tons of milk and 934,5 million eggs were produced.

Agricultural organizations produced 97,4% of the volume of livestock and poultry production, 98,6 of milk, and 93,4% of eggs, the release notes.

As of April 1, the agricultural organizations counted four million head of cattle, of which 1,4 million are cattle, and the number of pigs is two million.
